Update: Schedule Resumption Notice

We would like to let our readers know that we will be attempting to ease back into what is akin to our regular schedule this week. It has been an extremely trying time since late September due to the recent hurricanes and the necessity of needing to evacuate as well as the stress and toll it entails, which unfortunately led to a pause in our normal schedule, which was not intended. We sincerely appreciate your patience while we have been sidelined as it has been out of our control. As we will be looking to ease back into things with the goal of finishing our 2024 schedule until shortly before the Christmas holidays where will will take our normal pause for the holidays before embarking on the 2025 schedule, any content that is sent in for release by promoters, networks, and others in the sport of Boxing, for which we thank those who have sent and are sending content in for their patience as well, will continue to be made available for readers as we receive them. Netflix has announced a three-part docuseries “Countdown To Paul-Tyson* providing an inside look at social media influencer turned boxer Jake Paul and former two-time World Heavyweight champion and Hall of Famer Mike Tyson as they prepare for their fight at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX. The fight, which will air live on Netflix on Friday, November 15th will be available worldwide to Netflix subscribers as part of a Netflix subscription.  " Countdown To Paul-Tyson “ will air in three episodes with episodes 1 and 2 debuting on Netflix on Thursday, November 7th with episode 3 to follow on Tuesday, November 12. BOXING MANAGER HARRISON AIMS TO IGNITE HOUSTON FIGHT SCENE AFTER SECURING PROMOTERS LICENSE

Press Release: October 3, 2024 By Lee McLaughlan - 3rd October 2024, Houston, TX – Long-time boxing manager Bobby Harrison aims to supercharge Houston’s boxing scene after securing his promoter’s license. Harrison, who has a strong stable of boxing talent including Houston’s current NABF middleweight champion Marquis ‘Marvelous’ Taylor and Jr lightweight contender Eridson Garcia, applied for the license after becoming frustrated at seeing his world class fighters denied major bouts. Taylor and Garcia, both 30, are his prize assets and Harrison feels both boxers should be given the chance to have world title bouts in 2025. However, attempts to secure match-ups has proven impossible with a number of the top fighters refusing to take them on.
