Welterweight Evgenii Kurdanov scored a five round unanimous decision over former Bareknuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) World Welterweight champion Elvin Brito on Saturday night at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Pechanga, CA. A very tactical fight from the opening bell that saw both fighters trying to find openings and looking to counter each other in what were five very closely fought rounds, it was ultimately, Kurdanov’s better timing, combination punching in close, and ring generalship that ultimately proved to be the difference as Kurdanov scored the unanimous decision victory over the currently rated number five rated BKFC Welterweight contender in Brito.  Official scores were: 50-45 (On two scorecards) and 49-46 for Kurdanov. The Bareknuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) have announced their upcoming schedule of Bareknuckle Boxing cards for the month of March Bareknuckle Boxing cards. On March 2nd, the promotion will present it’s latest edition of it’s BKFC Prospects series from Enoch, Alberta, Canada. Headlining the card will be a battle in the Women’s Flyweight division as Jade Masson-Wong (Bareknuckle Boxing record 2-1, with 1 Knockout) will face undefeated Gabrielle Roman (Bareknuckle Boxing record 1-0-1, with 1 Knockout) in a bout scheduled for five two minute rounds. Undefeated Welterweight Gorjan Slaveski successfully went from contender to world champion by scoring a hard fought five round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Jake Lindsey to win the vacant Bareknuckle Fighting Championship ( BKFC ) Welterweight world championship on Friday night at the Miami-Dade Fairgrounds in Miami, FL. Rodriguez, who is 13-0, in traditional professional Boxing and is the current North American Boxing Federation (NABF) Bantamweight champion, dictated the fight from the start by using effective lateral movement, and her jab to control the distance over Crist, who was also making her professional Bareknuckle Boxing debut after a successful career in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
