Paul-Tyson Weigh-In Results

Press Release: November 14, 2024 By Netflix Most Valuable Promotions -  IRVING, TX –  November 14, 2024  – Today at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, international superstar Jake “El Gallo” Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) and the Baddest Man on the Planet, Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) stepped on the scales ahead of their highly anticipated showdown.

Combat sports announcer Kody "Big Mo" Mommaerts served as emcee, with reporting from  Ariel Helwani onstage. British sports broadcaster Kate Scott co-hosted the weigh-ins desk, with Roy Jones Jr. serving as analyst, joined by Tyron Woodley. Adding to the excitement, UFC GOAT Anderson Silva made a special appearance, thrilling fans with his support for fellow Brazilian star Whindersson Nunes. For additional details on the final weights, please refer to the attached bout sheet.

All fighters on the main and preliminary cards participated in the weigh-in, including undisputed super lightweight champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and unified featherweight champion Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs), who will face off in the most-anticipated women's boxing rematch in history. Additional fighters showcased included Mario Barrios, Abel Ramos, Neeraj Goyat, Whindersson Nunes, Shadasia Green, Melinda Watpool,  Lucas Bahdi, Armando Casamonica, Shu Shu Carrington Jr., and Dana Coolwell. 



Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson will stream live globally, exclusively on Netflix on Friday, November 15 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. Paul vs. Tyson will be available to stream live globally on all Netflix plans, at no additional cost to subscribers. The broadcast will feature live commentary in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French and German.

Jonas-Mayer Weights From Liverpool, England

The official weigh-in for Saturday's IBF Women's Welterweight world championship bout between defending champion Natasha Jonas and former WBO/IBF Jr. Lightweight world champion Mikaela Mayer took place earlier today in Liverpool, England at the Echo Arena. The champion weighed in at 146lbs. for the bout, which can be seen here in the United States on digital subscription sports streaming network ESPN+. Mayer, the current International Boxing Federation's number one Welterweight contender, who will be making her debut in the Welterweight division also weighed in at 146lbs. Jonas-Mayer will top a six bout card promoted by Ben Shalom’s Boxxer in association with Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum’s Top Rank, Inc.


Jonas vs. Mayer takes place on Saturday, January 20th at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. The fight as well as its full undercard can be seen here in the United States on digital subscription sports streaming network ESPN+ beginning at 2PM ET/11AM PT.

Alvarez-Ryder Weights

The official weigh-in for Saturday's DAZN Pay-Per-View main event (In the United States and Canada) at Akron Stadium Undisputed World Super-Middleweight chamipnship fight between defending champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and WBO number one Super-Middleweight contender John Ryder took place on Friday in Guadalajara, Mexico. Ryder, who will be making his second attempt at a world championship came in right at the Super-Middleweight limit of 168lbs.


Alvarez, who will be the overwhelming crowd favorite, as this fight has been promoted as a homecoming, came in looking lean at 167 1/2lbs. The bout is scheduled for twelve rounds and will have all four world championships, the WBO, WBC,WBA,IBF crowns which comprise the Undisputed Super-Middleweight chamipnship of the world will be on the line. Weights for the undercard bouts on the card are unavailable as of this writing.


Alvarez vs. Ryder takes place on Saturday, May 6th at Akron Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico. In North America, the fight can be seen on DAZN Pay-Per-View for $54.99. Alvarez-Golovkin III Weights From Las Vegas

 

The official weigh-in for Saturday’s third encounter between Undisputed Super-Middleweight world champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and current unified Middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin took place earlier today in Las Vegas, NV. Alvarez, who’s undisputed championship will be on the line in the twelve round bout weighed in at 167 1/2lbs. The challenger Golovkin, who will be making his Super-Middleweight debut in tomorrow night’s bout weighed in slightly heavier at 167 3/4lbs. The twelve round world championship bout will headline a pay-per-view card available on DAZN Pay-Per-View in several countries including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The card however, will be available as part of a standard subscription to the DAZN digital streaming network in other countries.

Valle-Nguyen Weights From Costa Rica

 

The official weigh-in for Thursday night’s Women’s World Minimumweight championship unification clash between current IBF world champion Yokasta Valle and current WBO world champion Thi Thu Nhi Nguyen took place earlier today in San Jose, Costa Rica. The unification bout, the first of three unification bouts to be held this week throughout Women’s Boxing will headline a Golden Boy Promotions promoted card from the Cuidad Deportiva Heiner Ugalde and can be seen globally on digital subscription sports streaming network DAZN.

The Minimumweight limit for the bout is 105lbs. Both world champions Valle and Nguyen weighed in officially at 104lbs. Valle will have a hometown advantage in Costa Rica and will be making the sixth defense of the IBF world championship she won in August 2019 with a ten round split decision over Joana Pastrana. She will also have a significant experience edge over WBO champion Nguyen having had twenty-seven professional bouts compared to only five for Thi Thu Nhi Nguyen. Nguyen however, is unbeaten in those five bouts and will be making her the first defense of the WBO championship she won in October of last year with a ten round unanimous decision over Etsuko Tada.

Ruiz-Ortiz Weights From Los Angeles, CA


The official weigh-in for a rare Sunday night pay-per-view card headlined by former unified Heavyweight world champion Andy Ruiz and longtime top. contender and former two-time world title challenger Luis Ortiz took place on Saturday in Los Angeles, CA. The bout, which will headline a Fox Sports Pay-Per-View card from the venue now known as Cryto.com Arena that can be seen on traditional cable/satellite providers as well as digital combat sports streaming network and pay-per-view platform FITE is also being billed as an elimination bout for the WBC World Heavyweight championship.

Although it is unclear as of this writing as to whether or not the winner of this fight will indeed be declared the next mandatory challenger by the World Boxing Council (WBC), the stakes are high for both fighters. The former champion Andy Ruiz weighed in at 268 3/4lbs. He will have a weight advantage of nearly twenty-four pounds over Ortiz, who weighed in at 245 1/2lbs. for the scheduled twelve round bout.

Usyk-Joshua II Weights From Saudi Arabia

 The official weigh-in for Saturday’s Heavyweight championship rematch between undefeated unified IBF/WBA/WBO/IBO world champion Oleksandr Usyk and former two-time Heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua took place earlier today in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The champion weighed in at 221 1/2lbs. Joshua meanwhile weighed in at 244lbs., which is four pounds heavier than what he weighed when the two met in their first encounter in London, England last September where Usyk scored a twelve round unanimous decision to win the unified world championship.  As was the case in the first bout between the two, the rematch is scheduled for twelve rounds.

Inoue-Donaire 2 Weights From Tokyo, Japan

Press Release: By Probellum – TOKYO, JUNE 6 – Nonito Donaire says he is “fired up” after making weight ahead of his eagerly awaited rematch with Naoya Inoue.

The 39-year-old tipped the scales at 117.8lbs in Yokohama earlier today (June 6), to comfortably come inside the bantamweight limit, while Inoue weighed in at 118lbs

Donaire and his Japanese rival clash at the Super Arena in Saitama tomorrow, with the WBC, WBA and IBF world titles on the line, in a fight the whole of boxing will be watching.

After squaring off with Inoue for the final time before fight night, the Filipino Flash said: “I feel good, I feel great.  It is going to be an amazing night and you can look forward to seeing the best of me.

“I am very fired up and it is going to be a very exciting fight!”

The rematch of 2019’s Fight of the Year headlines an event which is promoted by Ohashi Promotion and Teiken Promotions, in association with Probellum, with the first fight due to start at 4:50pm local time, and Donaire vs Inoue scheduled for 9pm local time.

Donaire rebounded from the first fight with Inoue to claim the WBC bantamweight title and set up a second showdown which promises to be more explosive than their classic encounter, nearly three years ago.

The future Hall of Fame inductee is confident of gaining revenge over the fighter known as ‘Monster’ and Donaire wants to set up an undisputed clash with WBO champion Paul Butler.
