ORLANDO, Fla. – December 13, 2024 – In the main event of MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 10, 28-year-old Antonio Vargas (19-1, 11 KOs) proved why he is the WBA’s #1 bantamweight contender as he became the new WBA interim world bantamweight champion following a tenth round TKO of 24-year-old Nicaraguan sensation and the WBA’s #9-ranked contender Winston “El Fantasma” Guerrero (22-1). Vargas dropped Guerrero early with a counter uppercut-left hook combination, but Guerrero came back in the second round, knocking Vargas down with a powerful overhand right. From there, Vargas took control, wearing Guerrero down with body shots and dominant combinations. In the 10th round, Vargas landed a devastating right hand that sent Guerrero to the ropes, finishing the fight with a flurry of punches, securing the TKO victory. MVP’s tenth installment of the Most Valuable Prospects series, presented by CELSIUS Live Fit Essential Energy, took place at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, FL, live on DAZN with Boxlab Promotions serving as the official licensed promoter.

In the co-main event, MVP’s Javon "Wanna" Walton (2-0-1, 1 KO) returned to the ring against the experienced Erik Hanley (1-2, 1 KO) in a 4-round super featherweight bout. Wanna came out firing hard punches from the opening bell, showcasing his superstar potential with quick-twitch explosiveness, speed, and power, highlighted by a ferocious left hook. Despite Hanley’s toughness and ability to absorb punishment, Wanna’s relentless pressure and aggressive combinations overwhelmed his opponent. Walton dominated throughout and earned a well-deserved win by majority decision (40-36 x2, 38-38).

Post-fight, an emotional Walton spoke to ringside reporter Sibley Scoles, expressing his gratitude to MVP, his family, and his fans for their unwavering support following a tough global debut in March 2024 and recent injuries. Jake Paul joined him in the ring, noting that Walton, like himself, started his career in the spotlight and rose to the occasion. Paul praised Walton’s ability to handle pressure and highlighted the significant improvement he's shown, emphasizing the display of power, aggression, and skill that made his performance so impressive.

In a sensational heavyweight battle, undefeated Cuban Olympian Dainier "The Fear" Pero (10-0, 8 KOs) made his fourth Most Valuable Prospects series appearance of 2024, capturing the vacant WBA Continental USA Heavyweight title with a TKO win over Walter Burns (8-3, 6 KOs). The 25-year-old Pero delivered a devastating display of power, knocking Burns down twice with thunderous head shots in the first round before finishing him for good at 2:50 of round 1. The victory, his sixth straight by TKO, capped an unstoppable year for Pero, who went 5-0 with 5 KOs in 2024, solidifying his status as a leading candidate for Prospect of the Year. Following the bout, Pero thanked MVP, Boxlab, and his supporters.

Tamm Thibeault (1-0), two-time Canadian Olympian, amateur world champion, and MVP’s latest signee, made history tonight as the first female boxer to make her professional debut under men’s rules—four three-minute rounds—in the Most Valuable Prospects 10 main card opener. Facing the WBA’s #10-ranked contender, Natasha “The Nightmare” Spence (8-7-2, 6 KOs), Thibeault delivered a commanding performance that showcased her immense potential as a future champion. Utilizing her impressive height, reach, and fluid movement, Thibeault combined strength and technical precision to dominate from the opening bell. Demonstrating the power and skill that made her an unstoppable force in the amateur ranks, she earned a unanimous decision victory (40-36 x3) to begin her professional career with a powerful statement.

Thibeault celebrated her victory alongside her new MVP teammates Jake Paul and Amanda Serrano in the ring, marking a momentous occasion for women’s boxing. Paul praised Thibeault as “the future” of the sport, while Thibeault expressed gratitude to Serrano for breaking barriers and inspiring a new generation of female fighters. Serrano reflected on the empowerment of being a female fighter in this historic era.

Amanda Serrano was honored as a lifetime WBA ambassador for her groundbreaking achievements and dedication to the sport. Boxing legend and former women’s champion Christy Martin was also celebrated, receiving the title of WBA Honorary Lifetime Champion for her decades of contributions to women’s boxing.

In the preliminary card headliner, 24-year-old Orlando talent Jeovanny Estela (14-2, 5 KOs) faced Jocksan Blanco (8-0, 4 KOs) in an eight-round bout for the WBA Continental USA super welterweight title. After a hard-fought battle that went the distance, an emotional Blanco secured the title with a majority decision victory (76-76, 77-75 x2).

Additional action on the preliminary card featured the undefeated Armenian prospect Gurgen “Big Gug” Hovhannisyan (7-0, 6 KOs), who battled Samoan fighter Patrick Mailata (6-3, 3 KOs) in an eight-round heavyweight bout. In a back-and-forth affair, Mailata landed some devastating shots in round 6, wobbling Hovhannisyan. However, the resilient Hovhannisyan regained his composure and demonstrated why he's one of the most exciting up-and-coming heavyweights, finishing strong with his jabs to secure a hard-fought majority decision (76-76, 77-75 x2).

Opening the preliminary card, Dominican prospect Hendri “La Bazuca” Cedeño (15-0, 11 KOs) continued his undefeated streak as he faced Mexican fighter Luis “Matador” Hernandez Ramos (23-6, 20 KOs) in an 8-round super lightweight bout. The 26-year-old Cedeño continued to showcase his rise in the division against the formidable 28-year-old Ramos, securing a unanimous decision victory (78-74, 79-73 x2).

The WBA recognized 103 years of progress ahead of the preliminary bouts, thanking fans and fighters around the world for their support. MVP SIGNS TWO-TIME CANADIAN OLYMPIAN AND AMATEUR WORLD CHAMPION TAMMARA “TAMM” THIBEAULT AHEAD OF PRO DEBUT

Press Release: December 13,  2024 By Most Valuable Promotions - MVP deepens its commitment to empowering female fighters by signing Thibeault, who makes a bold statement for equality in historic first-ever women’s pro debut under men’s rules—four three-minute rounds—at Most Valuable Prospects 10

Thibeault becomes MVP’s first female Canadian signee and joins “Prince” Lucas Bahdi as MVP’s second Canadian athlete

NEW YORK, NY – December 13, 2024 – Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) announced today that two-time Canadian Olympian and amateur world champion Tammara “Tamm” Thibeault will be the newest signee to MVP’s growing roster of world-class fighters. Thibeault joins MVP just ahead of her highly-anticipated pro debut against fellow Canadian and the #10 WBA-ranked middleweight, Natasha “The Nightmare” Spence (8-6, 6 KOs). Thibeault, a passionate advocate for gender equality in the sport, is making a powerful statement from the opening bell of her professional career as the first female boxer in history to compete in a pro debut under men’s rules—four three-minute rounds—in a middleweight / 160 lbs bout against Spence. The bout will open the main card of MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 10 on Friday, December 13 in Orlando, FL, available globally as part of the DAZN subscription package, with Boxlab Promotions serving as the official licensed promoter. Jake Paul, Amanda Serrano, and fellow Canadian signee Lucas Bahdi will be in attendance to support Thibeault and fellow MVP star Wanna Walton.

Originally from Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada, Thibeault began her boxing journey at the age of nine, inspired by seeing her father, a former CFL athlete who took up boxing in his offseason, knock out an opponent during a Provincial tournament. Following in his footsteps, she took up boxing at age 12 and was inspired to compete for Canada while watching the first women’s Olympic boxing competition at the 2012 London Olympics. Since then, the 27-year-old middleweight, a southpaw standing 6 feet tall, has forged an outstanding career in the amateur ranks. A two-time Olympian, Thibeault made her Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020, where she advanced to the quarterfinals of the women’s 75kg (165lb) event, matching Canada’s best-ever Olympic result in any women’s boxing event. She went undefeated until she returned to the Paris Olympics in 2024, earning gold medals at the 2022 IBA Amateur World Championship, the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and the 2023 Pan Am Games. Thibeault, who speaks French, English, and Spanish, recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Concordia University in 2023, which she earned over seven years while competing. She currently lives in Sheffield, England, where she is earning a one-year Master’s degree in urban design and urban planning while training at the renowned Steel City Gym. She is now poised to embark on the next chapter of her career, setting a new precedent in the pro ranks as the first female boxer in history to make a pro debut while competing under men’s rules, three-minute rounds, on the main card of MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 10.

“I am beyond excited to be part of Most Valuable Promotions,” said Tamm Thibeault. “The moment has come to start a new adventure, and I truly believe that with MVP, I will have the opportunity to bring something great to women’s professional boxing. Amanda Serrano has been an incredible inspiration, championing women’s choice in this sport, and I’m proud to follow her example by competing under men’s rules—with three-minute rounds—against Natasha Spence in my pro debut today. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to start this amazing journey!”

“I’m thrilled to welcome another strong female fighter in Tamm Thibeault to the MVP family,” said Amanda Serrano. “Tamm’s impressive accomplishments at the amateur level speak volumes about her talent and potential, and I’m confident she’s destined to become a future superstar. Most importantly, she shares our vision to uplift female fighters and show the world that women deserve recognition, a platform, and equal opportunity in this sport. By stepping into the ring to compete with three-minute rounds in her first pro fight, Tamm is making a bold statement on equality and setting a powerful example for the next generation of women in boxing. Change is coming.”

"Tamm Thibeault has the skills inside and outside the ring to ensure she has a long and successful boxing career," said Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. "As a two-time Canadian Olympian and amateur world champion, Tamm has already proven herself as one of the sport's brightest rising stars. Her decision to compete under men’s rules in her professional debut is a groundbreaking moment, and we’re honored to support her as she sets a new standard for what’s possible in women’s boxing. The anticipation for her pro debut on Most Valuable Prospects 10 tonight is just the beginning, and we’re excited to see her continue inspiring athletes worldwide and showcasing her talents in an MVP event in Canada in 2025.

Thibeault joins MVP’s elite roster of superstar athletes and up-and-coming stars including international superstar Jake “El Gallo” Paul, boxing trailblazer and unified featherweight world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano, prolific top boxing prospect H2O Sylve, MVP’s first homegrown champion, the new WBO Super Middleweight Champion, Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green, multi-talented megastar Javon “Wanna” Walton, India’s most successful professional boxer Neeraj Goyat, and top-ranked lightweight “Prince” Lucas Bahdi.

Founded by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, MVP aims to give athletes creative control, and aims to identify, grow, and maximize return for its talent partners and events. Together, Paul and Bidarian have architected Jake Paul’s meteoric rise in combat sports. In 2021, MVP signed one of the most decorated Hispanic athletes of all time, Amanda Serrano, who has since achieved historic milestones, including becoming Puerto Rico’s first-ever undisputed champion and competing in the first unified women’s championship fight contested over 12 three-minute rounds—the men’s championship standard—held in October 2023. Her previous historic clash against Katie Taylor at Madison Square Garden in 2022 earned recognition as Sports Illustrated’s Fight of the Year, The Ring’s Event of the Year, and was further nominated for Event of the Year by Sports Business Journal. The event marked a pivotal point in women’s sports history as the first time women have headlined a main event at the world-renowned venue in New York City.

MVP’s recent collaboration with Netflix broke records with the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson mega-event, which is now the most-streamed sporting event ever, peaking at 65 million concurrent streams globally, with 38 million in the U.S. The event drew an average minute audience (AMA) of 108 million live viewers globally, which grew to 125 million (Live+1) over the weekend. Co-headlining the historic card, Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 2 became the most-watched professional women’s sports event in U.S. history, with an AMA of 47 million viewers domestically and 74 million globally. The event also ranked as the #1 title on Netflix in 78 countries, including the U.S., UK, Brazil, and India, and trended as the #1 topic worldwide on X during the event. Joe Hand Promotions reported that over 1 million viewers watched from 6,000 bars and restaurants in the U.S., breaking commercial distribution records.

Paul-Perry Set For July 20th In Tampa On DAZN Pay-Per-View

Press Release: June 18, 2024 By DAZN and Most Valuable Promotions- NEW YORK, NY – June 18, 2024 – Today, MVP announced that international superstar Jake “El Gallo” Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) will return to the ring for “Fear No Man,” a cruiserweight battle against the incredibly dangerous bare knuckle champion boxer and MMA star “Platinum” Mike Perry (5-0, 3 KOs BKFC) on Saturday, July 20 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, live on DAZN pay-per-view. Paul vs. Perry will be an eight round cruiserweight bout, as Paul faces his most dangerous opponent to date and puts it all on the line in an incredibly risky fight against the baddest bare knuckle boxer of all time ahead of his bout with the Baddest Man on the Planet, Mike Tyson. Boxing trailblazer and unified featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) will also return to the ring against Tampa, Florida’s top-10 ranked IBF, WBO, and WBA talent and KO artist, Stevie “Sledgehammer” Morgan (14-1, 13 KOs) in the co-main event. Serrano vs. Morgan will be a super lightweight battle, contested over 10, two-minute rounds as Serrano aims to display her power at super lightweight against the powerful puncher, Morgan, ahead of her clash with Katie Taylor on Friday, November 15. Tickets for Paul vs. Perry and Serrano vs. Morgan at Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL will go on sale Wednesday, June 19th at 12pm ET on Ticketmaster.com.

“Fear No Man” is presented by CELSIUS Live Fit Essential Energy. The undercard will also feature the rematch of Crescent City, Florida’s Tony Aguilar (12-0-1, 4 KOs) vs. Orlando, Florida’s Corey “2Smoove" Marksman (9-0-1, 7 KOs) in an 8-round lightweight bout. Further undercard fights will be announced in the coming days.

Jake “El Gallo” Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) has shown tremendous growth as a boxer on his path to becoming a world champion, and now will face his most dangerous opponent to date, Mike Perry, on Saturday, July 20. Perry’s formidable knockout power and fearless mentality will pose a true risk and test for Paul as the 27-year-old aims to prove he has what it takes in the ring against his second youngest opponent to date, the 32-year-old Perry, who is one of the world’s most feared fighters and the baddest bare knuckle boxer of all time. Paul will nevertheless put it all on the line ahead of his bout against the Baddest Man on the Planet, Mike Tyson on Friday, November 15. Since turning pro in 2020, Paul has collected multiple accolades for his commitment to the sport of boxing, including ESPNRingside’s 2021 Knockout of the Year, Sports Illustrated’s 2021 Breakout Boxer of the Year, ESPNRingside’s 2022 Viral Moment of the Year, and was the cover of Sports Illustrated’s “The 50 Most Influential Figures in Sports” issue, awarded specifically for his groundbreaking work to revolutionize the sport through equitable pay, providing a platform for young fighters, and his support of female boxers. Paul also recently announced a partnership with USA Boxing ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, continuing his mission to elevate the sport and its future champions.

Since headlining his first fight, Paul has broken records at every arena he’s fought at during his professional career, including his first fight at Tampa’s Amalie Arena, Paul vs. Woodley II, which set the record for the highest combat sports gate in the arena’s history. Paul now returns to challenge his own record at Amalie Arena.

“When Paul vs. Tyson was rescheduled, I knew immediately that I wanted to still fight on Saturday, July 20. Now, as I prepare for my fight against Iron Mike, there’s no better opponent for me than Mike Perry,” said Jake Paul. “He’s a proven knockout artist who has shown to be a maniac in and out of the ring. This is the perfect experience for me to gain in advance of facing Mike Tyson. But getting that experience comes with risk. Those who know me know I’m a risk taker and while ‘Platinum’ Perry might try to end me, I’m Titanium Jake Paul and I fear no man. I’m going to get the W and give everyone a preview of what I’m bringing to the ring against Mike Tyson. Tune in on DAZN PPV as I return to Tampa and send ‘Platinum’ Perry the Platypus back to bare knuckle for good.”

"Platinum" Mike Perry (5-0, 3 KOs BKFC), one of the most dangerous fighters in combat sports, steps into the ring with Jake Paul following his fearsome career across the UFC, Triad Combat, and bare knuckle boxing. Following his 14-win career in the UFC, boasting 11 wins by knockout, Perry made his Triad Combat debut in November 2021, taking on 27-3, 21 KOs seasoned boxer Michael Seals, demonstrating his ability to handle power punchers and outworking Seals to a split decision victory in the bout. Less than three months later, Perry made his bare knuckle boxing debut with BKFC, securing his first win over Julian Lane in 2022, which he followed with a thrilling win over dynamic striker Michael “Venom” Page later that year. Perry's bout with former UFC champion Luke Rockhold in April 2023 ended decisively with a second-round knockout, highlighting Perry’s striking power and relentless pressure from the opening bell. In his BKFC “King of Violence” title fight in December 2023 against Eddie Alvarez, the first-ever fighter to become a champion in both UFC and Bellator, Perry displayed his vicious power yet again with a second round TKO due to corner stoppage. Perry earned the 2023 Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Male Fighter of the Year and in April 2024, he expanded his undefeated record to 5-0 with a first-round KO of UFC veteran Thiago Alves. The bout served as the latest testament to the power, tenacity and skill Perry will bring to the ring against Jake Paul on Saturday, July 20 for “Fear No Man”.

“Jake Paul claims he fears no man, but on Saturday, July 20, the world will see the truth: he just made the worst mistake of his life in trying to get through me before Iron Mike,” said Mike Perry. “I’m going to make it look easy on Saturday July 20th, and I’m going to teach Jake Paul the most he’s ever learned about fighting."

Amanda Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs), the first-ever Puerto Rican undisputed world champion, started her current featherweight title reign by defeating Heather Hardy in a brutal 10-round fight in 2019 to win the WBO belt, and has since defended her WBO belt six times. Serrano offered Hardy redemption in August 2023, but successfully defended her undisputed featherweight world champion title for the first time in a decisive 10 round unanimous decision victory. Serrano also won a blood-soaked war against WBA featherweight champion Erika Cruz in February 2023, which made her the undisputed featherweight champion. Serrano’s decisive win against Cruz followed her previous win over Sarah Mahfoud in Manchester, England that added the Dane’s IBF title to her WBO, WBC, and IBO featherweight belts. Her historic clash against Katie Taylor at Madison Square Garden in 2022 earned recognition as Sports Illustrated’s Fight of the Year and The Ring’s Event of the Year and was further nominated for Event of the Year by Sports Business Journal. Most recently, Serrano took home a unanimous decision victory against her mandatory WBO challenger Danila Ramos, making history in the first-ever women’s unified world championship to be fought over 12, three-minute rounds, equal to any men’s championship fight, and marking the first time a women’s fight has gone the full 12x3. Serrano threw a career high of 1103 punches in the bout. In honor of her trailblazing achievements inside and outside the ring, Serrano was also recently awarded the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) Female Fighter of the Year for 2023. Following her bout against Stevie Morgan on Saturday, July 20, Serrano is set to face Katie Taylor in the most anticipated women’s boxing rematch in modern history, for the undisputed super lightweight women’s championship. Taylor vs. Serrano will be the co-main event of the rescheduled Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson mega-event at AT&T Stadium on Friday, November 15.

“I’ve already been preparing for a fight on Saturday, July 20, and even though I’ll now be waiting a little longer for my rematch with Katie Taylor, this is an opportunity for me to face another tough boxer in Stevie Morgan in Tampa,” said Amanda Serrano. “My opponent has 13 KOs, more than almost every other active female boxer, but I fear no woman – I embrace the war. I look forward to seeing all my Puerto Rican fans in Tampa for my 50th professional fight to show the world my skills at super lightweight, live on DAZN PPV.”

Stevie Morgan (14-1, 13 KOs), the 34-year-old 5’8” lightweight talent, has established herself as a formidable force in the boxing world. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Stevie was an athlete throughout her school years, excelling in track and field, basketball, and football. Her journey into boxing began just a year before her first amateur fight, under the guidance of coach John Cassella. As an amateur, Stevie quickly rose to prominence with around 40 fights and accolades such as Outstanding Female Boxer and Florida Golden Gloves Champion. Stevie made her professional debut on June 18, 2022, with Brandi Mccain’s One One Six Promotions in Memphis, Tennessee. Under the expert training of Monyette Flowers at Flowers Boxing Lab, she has continued to build on her amateur success as a professional. Now in just her second year as a pro, she is currently ranked by the WBC and is in the top 10 of the IBF, WBO, and WBA world rankings.

“We’ve been training for an opportunity like this, and I want to give full respect to Amanda for all she has done in her career and for women’s boxing,” said Stevie Morgan. “In this sport, though, in order to make a name, you have to take a name. I have 13 KOs and nothing will be sweeter than making Amanda Serrano number 14. Come fight night on Saturday, July 20 there will be fireworks!”

“The stakes are high for every single one of MVP’s fighters stepping into the ring on Saturday, July 20. For Jake and Amanda, the pressure is on to emerge with a W against two very dangerous opponents in Mike Perry and Stevie Morgan,” said Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of MVP. “Jake Paul is facing a monster in Mike Perry. Amanda Serrano is going in there with a fighter who has 13KOs in 15 fights. Nothing is a given for our two superstars. We also have an incredible lineup of undercard fights coming together, the first of which features highly talented lightweight prospects Aguilar vs. Marksman. This fight will see these young talents putting their undefeated records on the line and working to set a new precedent for hopeful title contenders in the sport. We are excited to return to Tampa and put on another heart racing night of fights.”

Joining the undercard will be a battle of two of boxing’s up-and-coming lightweight prospects, Tony Aguilar (12-0-1, 4 KOs) vs. Corey Marksman (9-0-1, 7 KOs). The two were longtime amateur rivals before turning pro, and now look to secure Florida bragging rights during the bout. The 25-year-old Aguilar, a Crescent City, FL native, returns to the ring off his latest three thrilling fights on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects series, including his initial bout against Marksman on Most Valuable Prospects 5 in February 2024. He proudly represents his Mexican heritage in the ring, and is a relentlessly hard-working fighter who will look to keep the action high and his opponent guessing in his eagerly-anticipated rematch against Orlando, Florida’s Marksman. In the pair’s recent faceoff, the 23-year-old Marksman matched Aguilar’s energy and met the challenge with his own aggression and power. Aguilar, promoted by boxing legend Christy Martin, and Marksman fittingly fought to a split draw, a decision each will look to right in their favor on Saturday, July 20 in their first major PPV appearances.

“It’s great to have Jake Paul back on DAZN in another action packed, high risk fight,” said Jared Kass, SVP North America of DAZN. “With an unprecedented number of top-tier fights every year of DAZN, we are pleased to be adding another huge fight to our already packed summer schedule. Watch the fight exclusively live Saturday, July 20, only on DAZN PPV.”

BREAKING: Paul-Tyson Postponed

Press Release: May 31, 2024 By Official Statement on Paul vs. Tyson Event

The upcoming highly anticipated boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will unfortunately be postponed. During a follow up consultation on Thursday with medical professionals on his recent ulcer flare up, the recommendation is for Mike Tyson to do minimal to light training over the next few weeks and then return to full training with no limitations.

Both Mike and Jake are in agreement that it is only fair to ensure that both athletes have equal training time to prepare for this important match and are able to compete at the highest level. The health and well-being of athletes is our top priority, and we fully support Mike in taking the necessary time to allow him to perform at the level he expects of himself.

Mike is expected to return to his full training schedule in the coming weeks and is eager to get back in the ring. MVP anticipates rescheduling the match to later this year at AT&T Stadium, and we look forward to an exciting and well-prepared contest between these two exceptional athletes. The new date of the fight will be announced by next Friday, June 7th.

“I want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding during this time. Unfortunately, due to my ulcer flareup, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover,” said Mike Tyson. “My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon. Jake Paul, this may have bought you some time, but in the end you will still be knocked out and out of boxing for good. I appreciate everyone’s patience and can't wait to deliver an unforgettable performance later this year.”

“I fully support postponing the event so Mike Tyson has no excuses come fight night,” said Jake Paul. “My fans know I don’t want to face Iron Mike at anything but his best, but let there be no mistake – when he steps into the ring with me, I will be ready to claim my W with a sensational finish. Paul vs Tyson will be one for the ages, and I promise to bring my best for this once-in-a-lifetime matchup.”

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time and wish Mike a restful recovery. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. No action is needed to keep current tickets and current seat locations. Those unable to attend the rescheduled date are eligible for a refund at their original point of purchase. To request a refund, contact SeatGeek at dallascowboys@seatgeek.com with the subject line “Paul vs. Tyson”.

INDIA’S NUMBER ONE BOXER & WBC ASIA TITLE HOLDER NEERAJ GOYAT MAKES MVP DEBUT ON PAUL-TYSON CARD JULY 20 ON NETFLIX

Press Release: May 22, 2024 By Netflix And Most Valuable Promotions -

Goyat vs. Nunes, a professional 6 round super middleweight bout, joins Sylve vs. Schofield and Chavez Jr. vs. Till on the Paul vs. Tyson and Taylor vs. Serrano 2 undercard

Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today announced that India’s number one boxer and MVP’s first international signee, Neeraj Goyat (18-4-2, 8 KOs), will make his MVP debut against Brazil’s multi-talented superstar Whindersson Nunes, who holds a cumulative 2-2-1 record in his boxing career with 1 KO, in a professional 6 round super middleweight bout contested at 165 lbs on Saturday, July 20. Goyat vs. Nunes is the latest must-see global fight on the event’s decorated global card, headlined by The Problem Child, Jake “El Gallo de Dorado” Paul vs. The Baddest Man on the Planet Mike Tyson in the 8 round heavyweight main event, and the most anticipated women’s boxing rematch in history between Katie Taylor and Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano in the co-main event, a 10x2 undisputed super lightweight world title fight. Paul vs. Tyson will stream live globally, exclusively on Netflix from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. Tickets for the event are on sale now at seatgeek.comand have broken records already for the highest gate of any boxing or MMA event in Texas’ history, a testament to just how big this event is.

Goyat, one of the most viral boxers in the sport, vs. Brazil’s multi-talented star, Nunes is in addition to the recently announced 10 round lightweight battle between MVP’s undefeated young phenom H2O Sylve (11-0, 9 KOs) vs. fellow undefeated top prospect Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield (17-0, 12 KOs) in a clash of two of boxing’s best prospects. Also on the undercard will be the 6 round 190 lb. cruiserweight bout between veteran Mexican cruiserweight and former WBC middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (53-6-1, 34 KOs) and UK UFC star Darren Till in Till’s professional boxing debut following his tremendous UFC career, which garnered the fighter 18 wins inside the cage, including 10 knockouts and 2 wins by submission.

Goyat, born in Begampur, Karnal, Haryana, India, began his amateur boxing career in 2006 while attending the Army Sports Institute and quickly began his rise to the top, winning gold in 2008 in the Youth National Tournament. Goyat is a three-time WBC Asia title holder in 2015, 2016, and 2017, was named “Honorary Boxer of the Year” in 2017 by WBC Asia, and was the first Indian boxer ever to make the WBC World Rankings. Goyat was hurt in a car accident in 2019, which postponed a mega fight in the works against Amir Khan, but has since resumed fighting and continues his hunt for greatness. In spring 2024, he surged to the forefront of fighter attention worldwide via his viral social media campaign to fight MVP co-founder and international superstar Jake Paul, which culminated with Goyat traveling to San Juan, Puerto Rico to face off with Paul in person, ultimately signing to MVP. Goyat’s callout and subsequent faceoff set off a seismic wave of engagement across social media, garnering well over 150M views on his social media alone. Goyat will now make his MVP debut on Saturday, July 20 against Nunes. He trains under Kuldeep Keepa.

"I couldn't be more excited to make my MVP debut on what promises to be the biggest boxing event in history,” said Neeraj Goyat. “With millions of fans back home in India watching my every move, I'm not just fighting for myself; I'm fighting to make history and make my country proud. Thank you to Nakisa and the entire MVP team and of course Netflix for this opportunity to shine on the biggest stage imaginable. I hope all Indians around the world tune in for this historic event.“

Whindersson Nunes, a Brazilian icon and social media superstar, boasts a cumulative 2-2-1 record in his boxing career, with 1 KO. Known for his charismatic presence both inside and outside the ring, Nunes has faced notable opponents, including his 2022 bout against legendary world champion Acelino “Popó” Freitas, which went the distance over 8 rounds and resulted in a draw for the fighters. With a massive following of over 100 million across social platforms, including 59.5 million on Instagram and 44.6 million on YouTube, Nunes is a formidable figure in the digital world. For his upcoming fight, he is sharpening his skills under the guidance of coaches Diego Rodrigues and Caio Franco, and is training alongside Olympic medalist and professional boxing standout Esquiva Falcao, promising his best performance yet.

"I grew up watching big names in boxing, so having the opportunity to be part of this card and challenge myself in this sport is an honor,” said Whindersson Nunes. “As I've said on other occasions, boxing is more than just a fight: it's an art that requires a lot of technique, timing and strategy. I have been preparing myself daily with my coaches to present my best version of a fighter in Texas and, once again, defend and make my country proud."

“By featuring two more international stars in Neeraj Goyat and Whindersson Nunes, alongside the rest of our historic card, we're strategically supplementing Paul vs. Tyson and Taylor vs. Serrano 2 to drive patriotic engagement with the event from two of the biggest countries in the world,” said Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “Neeraj Goyat is arguably the greatest Indian boxer of all time and he will now have the opportunity to represent India as a part of one of the biggest boxing events of all time. Whindersson Nunes is returning to the ring against a much more experienced boxer and it shows what a Brazilian badass he is, ready to take on the challenge – you have to respect that. These two fighters are viral content machines and boast incredibly loyal supporters and massive reach across India and Brazil. This isn't just about the thrilling matchups; it's about uniting fans from around the world for an unforgettable experience and to grow the sport of boxing."

Additional information, including further undercard bouts, will be announced at a later date. Tickets are on sale now at seatgeek.com.

In a thrilling main event, Yoenis “El Bandolero” Tellez (8-0, 6 KOs) vs. Joseph “Action” Jackson (19-1, 15 KOs) took center stage at the Caribe Royale Resort in a 10-round super welterweight headliner in defense of the WBA Continental Latin Americas title. Both fighters put their undefeated records on the line, coming out with intensity in a back and forth first round as each fighter tested the other. Tellez, fighting out of Orlando, FL by way of Santiago, Cuba and promoted by Boxlab Promotions and Warrior’s Boxing, dropped Jackson in the second round with a left hook, and as Jackson took his feet, Tellez moved in again delivering a devastating series of uppercuts, sending Jackson against the ropes. In the fourth round, Jackson landed an illegal punch to the groin just before the bell, sending Tellez to the mat. Tellez rebounded well and was in control the entire match, displaying the type of tools and control that make him one of the most promising prospects in the sport. Despite Jackson’s ability to make it to the final bell, Tellez successfully retained his WBA Latin America Continental Title with a decisive unanimous decision (100-89 x3) win.

After the bout, a joyful Tellez thanked MVP, Boxlab, and the fans of his new home in Orlando. He also expressed how meaningful it was for him to represent his native Cuba in the ring, and discussed how the new generation of Cuban fighters do not run, but rather stand and fight, and promised that there is a bright future ahead for Cuban boxing. Jackson thanked Tellez for a hard-won battle and promised he’d be back in the ring soon.

In the co-main event, local favorites Benigno “Tony” Aguilar (12-0-1, 4 KOs) vs. Alexander “La Mole” Rios (8-2, 3 KOs) took the ring for an 8-round lightweight fight. The pair came out swinging, with Rios eager to settle the score and avenge his disappointing split decision loss against Aguilar on Most Valuable Prospects III in October 2023. However, Crescent City, Florida’s Aguilar proved too tough, sending the raucous crowd screaming to its feet in support throughout the fight as he took the advantage in the early rounds with a series of powerful combos. Rios fought back, continuing to put the pressure on Aguilar and delivering his own series of devastating body shots, looking to wear down Aguilar and end the fight as he predicted it–with a fifth round body shot knockout–but was unable to deliver on the promise despite his impressive bombardment of body shots throughout the round. Rios battered Aguilar against the ropes throughout the sixth and seventh rounds, while Aguilar showed impressive resilience and energy with selective dodges and well-placed hits, knocking back Rios. Outlasting each other through the eighth round, the bloodsoaked fighters took their rivalry once again to the cards, earning Aguilar the unanimous decision (78-76, 79-73 x 2), determining the results of the pair’s rivalry once and for all.

Following the fight, an emotional Aguilar told Sibley Scoles he was pissed off about the cut on his eye but admitted he knew he was still pretty. He gave love to his team and family for supporting him in quitting his job so that he could dedicate his career to boxing and continue growing in the ring. Rios also shared his thoughts with Scoles after the fight, thanking God for pushing him, saying he’s “just a fat kid from Puerto Rico that loves to eat,” and that he plans to keep going, giving respect to Aguilar for his sportsmanship and giving a good fight in the ring.

Salinas, Puerto Rico featherweight Jan Paul Rivera (9-0, 5 KOs) faced off against fellow undefeated talent David Perez (9-1, 2 KOs) in a six round main card fight. Rivera, the 22-year-old prospect and Puerto Rican national boxing team standout, set out to establish dominance over Perez from the opening bell. Perez proved ready to rise to the challenge, however, continuing to come at Rivera and even smiling as he suffered a series of devastating combos from the Puerto Rican talent. The pair showed off their punching power, precision, and agile footwork, trading relentless blows and tensions ran high before the sixth and final round, as the fighters traded barbs after the bell. After going the distance Rivera earned a hard-fought unanimous decision (60-54 x3) over Perez.

Following the fight, Rivera thanked MVP and Boxlab for the opportunity to fight on Most Valuable Prospects VI, with and shared his pride in fighting for the people of Salinas. Amanda Serrano and her trainer and manager Jordan Maldonado joined Rivera in the ring. Serrano shared that she would be working with Rivera in the gym in the future, calling his performance a perfect fight.

Opening the main card, Orlando, Florida’s Dainier “The Fear” Pero (7-0, 5 KOs) made his return to Most Valuable Prospects in a 6-round heavyweight bout vs. Jose Mario Tamez (4-4, 1 KO) in a battle of Cuba vs. Mexico. Pero, the 24-year-old 6’5” Olympian promoted by Boxlab Promotions, was all business from the moment he stepped into the ring, proving his merit as a fighter on the fast track to heavyweight title contender. Pero came out strong from the first round bell, quickly bloodying Tamez with a series of face shots. The fight was called at 2:00 in the round as Pero relentlessly landed power combos against the overmatched Tamez with a TKO win to stay undefeated.

In a special walkout fight following the main card, Tampa, FL powerhouse Ariel “Golden Hulk” Perez (3-0, 2 KO) faced off with Bessemer, Alabama’s Steven “Big Mot” Motley (1-1, 1 KO) in an action-packed four round light heavyweight fight. Perez boasted a rowdy crowd of supporters in the back-and-forth fight, before surging to a thrilling third round barrage that brought Team Golden Hulk to its feet as Perez knocked down Motley at the bell before ending Motley for good with a TKO in the fourth round.

Headlining the preliminary card, Crescent City, FL’s David Garcia (6-0, 3 KOs) took on fellow undefeated fighter Henry Richard (4-1, 3 KOs) in a six round heavyweight battle. Garcia, the former Junior Olympics national champion, came out swinging from the start and the two powerful hitters battered each other with a thundering series of shots. Garcia sent Richard staggering into the ropes twice in the first round and kept up the momentum through the second round before successfully handing Richard his first professional loss by TKO at 1:41 in the second round. Following the fight, Garcia spoke with ringside reporter Sibley Scoles in-ring, thanking his fans, family, God, and Crescent City, expressing his hopes to return to Most Valuable Prospects VII on Friday, July 26 to continue testing his undefeated streak.

Also in the preliminary rounds, Amanda Serrano’s newest signee, Alexis “Chop Chop” Chaparro (1-0, 1 KO) made his pro debut against Daniel Augare (2-4, 2 KOs). Chaparro proved why he was a 2x Olympic trials qualifier as he demonstrated star qualities against Augare from the opening bell, earning a swift first-round TKO win. DeMichael “Trigga Man” Harris (11-0-1, 10 KOs), who trains out of Puerto Rico with Team Jake Paul, continued his undefeated streak with an impressive 5th-round TKO of Rosario, Argentina fighter Blas Ezequiel Caro (11-8, 5 KOs). Four-time US national champion and 20-year-old Texas native Xavier “X-Man” Bocanegra (4-0, 2 KOs) won by unanimous decision (40-34 x3) against Carlos Andre Dos Santos Rocha (3-4, 2 KOs) of São Paulo, Brazil in a four-round featherweight fight. Opening the night, Natalie “No Love” Dove (2-0), the highly-talented 22-year-old prospect and training partner to MVP’s Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton, stayed true to her nickname as she brought the heat against Cleveland’s 3x Golden Gloves champion Alyssia Lopez (0-1) with a fiery barrage from the opening bell, ultimately resulting in a unanimous decision (39-37, 40-36 x2) victory for 15x national amateur champion Dove.

NETFLIX AND MOST VALUABLE PROMOTIONS PARTNER ON JAKE PAUL VS. MIKE TYSON, A GLOBAL LIVE SPORTS EVENT TO STREAM EXCLUSIVELY ON NETFLIX ON SATURDAY JULY 20

Credit: Most Valuable Promotions/Netflix

Press Release: By  Most Valuable Promotions And Netflix March 7, 2024-
THE LIVE PROFESSIONAL SPORTS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT AT&T STADIUM IN ARLINGTON, TEXAS

Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today announced their first-ever partnership in a heavyweight boxing mega-event headlined by The Problem Child, Jake “El Gallo” Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) vs. the Baddest Man on the Planet, Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs). Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson will stream live globally, exclusively on Netflix on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from the 80,000-seat capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson marks Jake Paul’s most-anticipated fight to date and his second fight of 2024 following back-to-back sensational knockouts against professional boxers and Golden Glove winners Ryan Bourland this past Saturday, March 2 and Andre August in December 2023. Paul has shown tremendous growth as a boxer on his path to becoming a world champion, but now will take on one of the best and most dangerous boxers of all time in Mike Tyson.

“It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight, I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard. Now, less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons,” said Jake Paul. “Within just two and a half years of founding MVP, we’re about to produce the biggest fight in history, a fight in the biggest NFL stadium in the US, broadcast live, on the biggest streaming platform in the world – a testament to all we’ve accomplished in such a short amount of time. Whether you’re tuning in on Netflix or showing out in person, whether you’re team Paul or team Tyson, or whether you’re a lifelong boxing fan or watching your first fight, you’re not going to want to miss this event. I could not be more excited to make this amazing fight available to all Netflix subscribers alongside the hardest hitter of all time, Mike Tyson, on Saturday, July 20th. My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion ever, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. This will be the fight of a lifetime.”

Mike Tyson, the legendary former undisputed world heavyweight champion, is one of the biggest stars the sport of boxing has ever seen. The “Baddest Man on the Planet” is recognized as one of the greatest fighters of all time, ESPN’s #1 hardest hitter in heavyweight history, and the youngest heavyweight champion ever at just 20 years old. His explosive power and ferocious fighting style led to a staggering run of 37 consecutive victories, with 33 of those wins coming by knockout.

“I'm very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T STADIUM IN ARLINGTON, TEXAS,” said Mike Tyson. “He's grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a “kid” can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.  It's a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch; as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish him.”

Since establishing MVP in 2021, Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul have disrupted combat sports, producing some of the world’s biggest events, making history in women’s boxing and giving a new platform to young fighters. Partnering with Netflix to bring Paul vs Tyson to audiences worldwide is a strategic decision to ensure this once in a lifetime event that connects six generations of sports fans is distributed globally to hundreds of millions of fans.

“Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson is a once in a lifetime dream matchup and I anticipate it will be the most-watched boxing event in modern boxing history,” said Nakisa Bidarian, founder of Most Valuable Promotions. “Partnering with Netflix for this deal presents an unparalleled opportunity to bring Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson to the world on an unprecedented scale and we look forward to delivering this incredible clash of two of sports biggest names. Six generations of boxing fans will have a stake in the outcome and will be able to watch an anti-hero, Jake Paul, put it all on the line  against the baddest man on the planet, Mike Tyson. Thank you to Netflix for their vision and trust in MVP to put on this historic event.”

Netflix is the premier home for great sports entertainment with hits like Untold that featured Jake Paul the Problem Child episode last year, along with Formula 1: Drive To Survive, Full Swing, NASCAR: Full Speed, Quarterback, Tour de France: Unchained, Under Pressure: The U.S. Women’s World Cup Team and Six Nations: Full Contact. And beginning in 2025, Netflix will become the new home of WWE Raw. Paul vs. Tyson will be Netflix’s third live sports event, following The Netflix Cup and The Netflix Slam.

"Mike Tyson is one of the biggest icons in boxing history and Jake Paul is one of the biggest disruptors in boxing history,” said Gabe Spitzer, Vice President, Nonfiction Sports, Netflix. “Saturday, July 20 will be pure drama in the ring in Texas. We are thrilled to partner with Most Valuable Promotions for this historic event and we can't wait for these two to face off for fans all across the world on Netflix."
