Press Release: August 13, 2025 By Most Valuable Promotions - Boxrec’s #5 and ESPN’s #10 pound-for-pound women’s boxer globally now joins younger sister WBC Youth champion Naomy Valle under Most Valuable Promotions banner

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA – August 12, 2025 – Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today welcomed pound-for-pound superstar, three-division world champion, and current WBC minimumweight champion at 105lbs Yokasta Valle (33-3, 10 KOs) as its latest elite women’s signee. Valle signed her MVP promotional contract tonight alongside Most Valuable Promotions CEO and co-founder Nakisa Bidarian at a press conference in San Jose, Costa Rica, held at the Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica. Valle, currently ranked Boxrec’s #5 and ESPN’s #10 pound-for-pound women’s boxer globally, was also joined by her sister, recent MVP signee and WBC Youth champion at 108lbs Naomy Valle (14-0, 9 KOs) on stage to celebrate the signing as the company continues to advance its investment and global commitment to women’s boxing. Most Valuable Promotions now promotes 6 of the top 10 women’s pound-for-pound stars globally on Boxrec and 5 of the top 10 on ESPN.

Yokasta Valle  (33-3, 10 KOs) is a world champion boxer born in Nicaragua and raised in Costa Rica. At a young age, her family made the life changing decision to move to Costa Rica in search of a better future. In the heart of San José, Yokasta developed both as a person and as an athlete, forging the values that would define her: discipline, resilience, and an unbreakable will. Growing up with limited resources and countless challenges, Yokasta learned early on that nothing is given, and everything is earned. In a sport historically dominated by men, she carved her own path and fought not only for her own dreams, but to open doors for women in boxing. Before turning professional, Yokasta had a decorated amateur career, earning two Central American championship titles. As a professional, she won her first world title in 2016 and since then, she has never looked back. She has gone on to conquer six world titles across three weight divisions (102, 105, and 108 lbs), establishing herself as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, currently holding the WBC minimumweight title at 105lbs since November 2024. Her reign has been marked by consistency, dominance, and a fearless attitude, often defeating world champions in their own countries that mark her resume with international fights and global exposure. Throughout this time, Valle has also championed equal pay in women’s boxing, fighting for and achieving the same purse conditions as male boxers in similar positions.

Outside the ring, the 32-year-old is an entrepreneur, boxing promoter, and social role model. She is the first world champion in Central America to run her own promotional company, Yoka Sports & Boxing Promotions, where she creates opportunities for the next generation of fighters, especially women. She is also the face of leading brands like Vaseline, Kolbi, Grupo Mutual, Dexketo, and Chery, and is celebrated as a national sports ambassador in Costa Rica not only for her achievements, but for living a life that exemplifies hard work, consistency, and humility.

In 2023, she was recognized by the United Nations as their Costa Rica Champion for the example she set in the fight for women's rights and migrants’ rights, continuing to prove her relentless spirit both inside and beyond the ropes. On a personal level, she remains grounded and deeply connected to her family, especially her younger sister Naomy Valle, a rising professional boxer, recent signee to MVP, and aspiring pilot who continues Yokasta’s legacy in and out of the ring.

“Today marks a new chapter in my career, and I couldn’t be more excited to announce that I’m joining Most Valuable Promotions. This signing is not just a step for me—it’s a step forward for all of Latin American women’s boxing, proving that our stories, our talent, and our passion deserve to be on the biggest stages,” said Yokasta Valle. “I’ve walked a path full of sacrifices, tough training, and battles inside and outside the ring. Every punch, every victory, and every setback has prepared me for this moment. MVP has shown they believe in women and in our ability to fill arenas and break barriers, and I’m here to leave my heart in every fight. Thank you to MVP for believing in me, to my team who never let go of me, and to all my Latino people who have supported me, no matter the distance. This new stage is for you… because together, we’re going to keep making history.”

“Yokasta Valle is a trailblazer and one of the most accomplished and respected champions in boxing, and she’s just getting started,” said Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “As a three-division champion and one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, she has created generational impact and inspired young girls across Central America. Now at MVP, her story will continue to transcend geographical barriers and resonate with fans around the world. It is an honor to welcome Yokasta to MVP and to now represent both her and her sister Naomy as we continue our shared mission to elevate women’s boxing globally. The Serrano sisters set a high bar and now the Valle sisters are going to continue the legacy of sisters that reign supreme in boxing.”
