New Ryan Garcia NFT drop ahead of 16 July fight


LONDON, 11 July 2022 – DAZN Group, the leading global sports entertainment company, has today announced the launch of a boxing-focused non-fungible token (NFT) global marketplace - This new offering is part of DAZN’s evolution into a 360° entertainment ecosystem where fans can engage with their favourite sports in many different ways - a daily destination.


The first collection includes NFTs featuring exciting moments from 2021 DAZN fights, including Parker vs. Chisora, Estrada vs. Chocolatito, Cameron vs. McGee, Haney vs. Diaz, Lopez vs. Kambosos, and more. They are sold in a mystery pack of three.


These DAZN BOXING NFTs - available for purchase with both crypto and traditional currencies – come in a variety of short video clips and still images, with rarities scattered throughout the mystery packs. For a limited time only, any buyer purchasing a pack between 11 July and 15 July will receive a limited edition Ryan Garcia NFT for free as well as qualify to win exclusive Garcia merch.


The week-long promotion comes just ahead of 16 July, when the boxing superstar takes on two-time world champion Javier Fortuna in a fight that will exclusively broadcast live worldwide on DAZN.

The announcement follows the launch of DAZN MOMENTS, DAZN Group’s sports-dedicated NFT marketplace in Japan. DAZN MOMENTS features a limited-edition NFT collection in partnership with Meiji Yasuda Seimei J.League. The collection features official match footage and the best sporting moments from the 2021-2022 seasons of J.League, Japan’s premier football league.
